Ales Kristancic with a brilliant Malvasia

The young, dynamic Turno range from the Movia winery is very popular with our wine customers. The wines are fresh, intense and youthful. This is also true of Movia’s latest creation, the Turno Malval (Turno Belo).

After maceration, the Malvasia matures for 8 months in barriques and a further 3–4 months in the bottle. Typical of Movia: no added sulphur and no filtration. The wine retains all its natural character.

The Turno Malval displays a deep golden colour. The bouquet is varied and complex, with notes of white peach, lemon zest, ripe apples, dried flowers and almonds. Very engaging and thoroughly pleasant.

On the palate, it is dry and elegant, with a lovely oily texture. The character on the palate is more intense and even more varied than the aroma suggests. It has impressive longevity and a long finish.
