Terra Rossa - The red top natural wine cuvée from the Slovenian karst region

The combination of the Teran, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, combined with the unique style of the wines from the Vina Cotar winery, make Terra Rossa a fascinating red wine.

After maceration on the skins and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation, the red wine matures in barrique barrels for up to 5 years until unfiltered bottling. No sulfur is added during the entire fermentation and maturation process.

The Terra Rossa by Branko and Vasja Cotar has a fragrant bouquet, fruity, smoky notes. Spicy, fresh acidity as is so typical of Karst wines. Soft in the mouth, perfectly harmonious, soft tannins and lots of bite. The Terra Rossa natural wine from Slovenia is beautifully light and lively and yet so intense.

The storage potential of Terra Rossa is excellent. Although the Teran only has a share of 30%, it dominates the cuvée!
