The beautiful diva – natural wine Pinot Noir

‘A winemaker's skill is shown in the Pinot Noir’. An old saying that fits so well here.

As with all Movia wines, the Pinot Noir grapes are harvested late and brought to fermentation within a short time of harvesting (within 2 hours). Maceration lasts for 3-4 weeks until the end of the fermentation process, when the grape skins settle on their own and the wine clarifies. After that, the Pinot Noir matures in oak barrels for up to four years. No sulphur is used on Movia until bottling and the red natural wine is bottled unfiltered.

At Movia, Pinot Noir is one of the winery's flagship wines. The colour is a deep garnet, almost brownish.

The bouquet is unmistakably that of a Modri Pinot Noir, with gentle notes of leather, undergrowth, forest fruits and earthy notes, which together create a great harmony. On the palate, it is dry, with silky tannins and the right amount of acidity to enhance its character and give it longevity. A very round mouthfeel with a long finish.
