Movia Lunar – the king of special wines

In the case of Movia Lunar, nature, with the help of the moon, does most of the work usually done by man. The most natural and purest wine with no added sulphur. Pure nature in a glass.

The hand-picking of the Rebula in the vineyards of the Movia winery in Brda is done late. Care is taken to ensure that a maximum of 2 hours elapse between harvesting and the start of fermentation. The hand-rubbed grapes mature in special new barrique barrels, which have been converted to the Movia's own process and give the wine more time to follow the phases of the moon. After 8 months of maturing, the wine is poured into the bottles at full moon without the addition of sulphur, unfiltered and without mechanical pressure. This very gentle process gives the Lunar its wonderful structure and reflects the close connection of the Orange wine with nature.

In the glass, it has a medium-intense amber colour. On the nose, it is captivating, youthful and fruity. We find typical notes of ageing in oak barrels and a refined spicy-woody note reminiscent of incense and fine scents. On the palate, Lunar is dry, elegant and stimulating. Made from the Rebula grape, Lunar impresses with its strong character and beautiful, long finish. An exceptional wine.
