The exceptional location of the Rimac vineyard, the precise biodynamic cultivation, the threefold thinning out of the grapes and the weather conditions of the 2020 vintage have resulted in the absolute top wine of Angel Barbera 2020.

Hand-picked at the end of September. After a 15-day maceration, the wine matured in 50% new and 50% used oak barrels. In the search for perfect flavour, the Angel Barbera 2020 contains not only 93% Barbera from the Rimc vineyard, but also a dash of 7% Merlot from the Šmihel vineyard. After 26 months of maturation, the Angel Barbera 2020 is bottled without filtration or clarification.

A deep ruby red in the glass with a very dense structure. Fruity berry aromas are accompanied by the beloved Barbera notes of sweet cherries, along with wild plums and slightly earthy hints. Wonderfully soft and caressing on the palate. The cherry notes remain present, complemented by vanilla aromas and spicy peppermint. Engaging, caressing, warming.
