Sweet Merlot from Klet Brda – a pure delight

This sweet Merlot from the Klet Brda wine cooperative in Slovenia is the perfect red wine for lovers of sweeter wines with lots of fruit. The grapes are harvested by hand and matured in steel tanks. This gives the Merlot its fruity, fresh character.

In the glass a deep red with violet reflections. In the nose aromas of ripe strawberries, plum compote and jam. In the mouth very soft, sweet and fruity. Finely tuned in the aromas. Not too intense.

In combination with chocolate, various desserts and or cheese, this sweet red wine from Slovenia is simply perfect. It highlights the aromas and gives them a new depth of flavour with its fruit, which is a great pleasure.
