Quercus Modri Pinot Klet Brda 2021

The Quercus Modri Pinot from Klet Brda matures 50% in barriques and 50% in steel tanks. This is how a very round, fruity and harmonious red wine from Slovenia is created. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, as is customary at Klet Brda.

In the glass, a translucent ruby red with brick-red highlights. The fruity side of the Pinot Noir is immediately apparent on the nose. Strawberries, blueberries and cassis with jammy notes. Very inviting.

On the palate, the berry notes remain, but are complemented by riper notes. Ripe forest berries. The tannins are very well integrated and gently perceptible. The Quercus Modri Pinot feels very harmonious, filling and velvety in the mouth. The finish is long and warming.

This Pinot Noir from Klet Brda is a real treat for all the senses. Simply soothing.
