Quercus Modri Pinot Klet Brda 2020

The Quercus Modri Pinot from Klet Brda matures 50% in barriques and 50% in steel tanks. The result is a very round, fruity and harmonious red wine from Slovenia. As is usual at Klet Brda, the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand.

In the glass a translucent ruby red with brick red reflections. The fruity side of the Pinot Noir is immediately evident on the nose. Strawberries, blueberries and cassis with jammy notes. Very inviting.

In the mouth, the berry notes persist, but are complemented by more mature notes. Ripe wild berries. The tannins are very well integrated and gently perceptible. the Quercus Modri Pinot feels very harmonious, filling and velvety in the mouth. The finish is long and warming.

This Pinot Noir from Klet Brda is a real treat for all the senses. Simply beneficial.
