Krasno Rdece Klet Brda 2021

Red wine cuvée from the Klet Brda winegrowers' cooperative, made from the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grape varieties. The grapes, which are harvested exclusively by hand, are first placed in large oak barrels to mature. Fermentation and maceration take place separately. This red wine from Slovenia thus perfectly balances fruit and maturity.

In the glass, ruby red with purple highlights. Fruity berry notes are immediately noticeable on the nose. Blackberries and currants are particularly prominent. These are accompanied by light toasted aromas. On the palate, flavours of chocolate, blueberries and a hint of cherry. Very harmonious, dry, fruity and with a low acidity.

A red wine from Slovenia by Klet Brda that goes well with steak and roast meat, but also perfectly with a snack of cheese and raw ham. An all-rounder that is so harmonious that it has become an indispensable part of our wine cellar and has been the start of many a convivial evening.
