The Emilia-Romagna wine region is one of Italy's major wine producers, producing over 60,000 hectolitres of wine annually. It is also one of Italy's culinary centres and the origin of many delicacies. Emilia-Romagna stretches from the Adriatic coast and the Apennines to the River Po. The region's best-known white wines include Trebbiano and Malvasia. The regional white variety Spergola is also well worth trying.
