The Vajgen vineyard is one of the best sites at Dveri-Pax. After the hand-picking of the grapes and fermentation on the fine yeasts, the Sauvignon Blanc matures for 18 months in new and used barrique barrels. This gives it a distinctive intensity and fullness.

Its aroma is typically Sauvignon, characterised by fruit, fresh, but also calm and mature. The classic floral notes of a Sauvignon are present in the background. In the foreground, we find floral and honey notes, but also a hint of oak. This combination makes the anticipation for the first sip of the white wine grow. On the palate, it is dry, with pleasant acidity and a strong body. The wine tastes warm, intense and uncompromising in the mouth. A masculine, rich Sauvignon, with a beautiful freshness and the vibrancy of the great 2017 vintage. It improves with time in the glass, so it should be approached slowly.
