Miha Batic has once again surpassed himself with the new orange wine cuvée made from five different white wine varieties.

Batic Marlon is created in a similar way to Batic Zaria. All five grape varieties grow together in the vineyard so that the varieties are pollinated together. The same idea remains during the harvest, all grapes are harvested together to achieve perfect harmony. Isn't this risky? Doesn't each grape variety have its own requirements? Yes, such vinification is only possible with great experience, an intense sensitivity for the grape varieties and a perfect vineyard. The result in the wine bottle is spectacular and stands completely on its own. For us as wine connoisseurs, this independence of an Orange wine is exactly what we are looking for in wines. We also find it here with Miha Batic.

The wine has a deep golden yellow colour, a little cloudy – a real natural wine. The bouquet is ripe, it smells of lots of butter, maturation on yeast, no fruitiness, just ripeness. The dry wine tastes slightly sweet, has a medium, almost strong body. The fullness in the mouth is ample, the texture is soft and the wine has a nice acidity. Harmonious, unique, long-lasting wine.
