The exceptional location of the Rimac vineyard, the precise biodynamic cultivation, the triple thinning of the grapes and the weather conditions of the 2020 vintage have led to the absolute top wine of Angel Barbera 2020.

Harvested by hand at the end of September. After a 15-day maceration, the wine matured in 50% new and 50% used oak barrels. In search of perfection in taste, the Angel Barbera 2020 contains not only 93% of Barbera from the Rimc vineyard, but also a pinch of 7% Merlot from the Šmihel vineyard. After 26 months of maturation, the Angel Barbera 2020 is bottled without filtration and without clarification.

In the glass a deep ruby red with a very dense structure. Fruity berry aromas are accompanied by the beloved Barbera notes of sweet cherries, wild plums and slightly earthy notes. Wonderfully soft and flattering in the mouth. The cherry notes remain present, complemented by vanilla flavors and spicy peppermint. Engaging, flattering, warming.
