The Pleterje Charterhouse has always produced traditional, natural wines and brandies according to its own self-image. The rosé wine of the monastery from the Blaufränkisch variety is simply a pleasure.
It already shines at us from the bottle in a light copper color. The coming fruity berry notes are almost noticeable. In the scent of berries - raspberries, strawberries, currants and some sour cherries. Slightly floral.
The grape variety Blaufränkisch produces a very pleasant freshness, combined with a nice, balanced acidity. The taste is fruity and soft. This creates a very harmonious picture.
The Modra Frankinja Rosé is a sparkling rosé for social gatherings, cozy evenings and as an accompaniment to grilled food on warm summer days. A summer wine as written in books.
