Fine Blaufränkisch from the Dolenjska region in Slovenia

One of the most popular red grape varieties in the Dolenjska region of Slovenia is Blaufränkisch. The Klet Krsko winery cooperative focuses its wines on Blaufränkisch and produces various variations of the red wine. This is how beautiful red wines are created that give us a lot of joy. The Modra Frankinja 2020 is an excellent example of this. Aged and matured in steel tanks, the result is a round, fruity Blaufränkisch that looks great with a nice roast or short-fried meat as well as with a snack.

A bright ruby red in the glass. Very welcoming. Ripe red fruits on the nose that make you want to take the first sip. In the mouth the fruit notes continue and become more complex. We perceive soft tannins, nicely integrated. The finish is medium long.

An all-round successful red wine from Slovenia and a great introduction to the world of Blaufränkisch.
