Malvazija in all its benefits

Located in the Goriska Brda region near the Italian Collio, Edi Simcic grows excellent wines with a deep terroir character. For his Malvazija, only the best of the grapes were picked by hand in the early morning hours and brought to the wine cellar while still refrigerated. After the alcoholic fermentation, the white wine from Slovenia matured on the fine lees in barriques for around 10 months. The aging of the white wines in barriques in French style is characteristic of the wine style of the exceptional winemaker Edi Simcic and his son Aleks Simcic.

Intense aromas of apricots, citrus fruits and peaches on the nose. Finely rounded off by characteristic vanilla aromas, butter notes and floral accents. It literally invites you to continue the journey of discovery. On the palate it shows all its fullness and wonderful melting. The Malvazija literally melts on your tongue. Here we can clearly see the terroir of Goriska Brda. The salty minerality and fine spice, followed by a very long finish, elegantly round off this wine experience from Slovenia.
