Bregar Sauvignon 2019

Full-bodied Sauvignon from Goriska Brda

The Bregar Sauvignon grapes are picked by hand when fully ripe. Fermentation takes place on the skins and with natural yeasts for 4-5 days. Maturation follows over 12 months in used oak barrels.

In the glass a beautiful golden yellow, bright and dense. The Sauvignon gains its depth and elegance through aging in wooden barrels. Gooseberries, but also citrus notes and exotic fruits stand out in the aroma. In the mouth it is creamy and has good minerality. Now ripe fruits and light vanilla notes come to the fore, paired with pleasant spice.

A Sauvignon from Slovenia, which is almost reminiscent of a Chardonnay due to its fullness and spice and which sparks great joy when discovered.
