In 1953 the Cantina della Vernaccia was founded in Sardinia. A large part of the vineyards extends from the Stagno di Cabras to the Sinis peninsula. Around Cabras there is a microclimate with hot summers and mild winters. Grapes for the best Sardinian wines such as Vernaccia di Oristano, Nieddera, Cannonau or Vermentino grow on the limestone and sedimentary rock.

The Don Efisio Monica di Sardegna shows a ruby ​​red color in the glass. On the nose we perceive the scent of red berries and spices. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh and pleasantly soft. Exactly the characteristics that we love so much in the Sardinian grape variety Monica di Sardegna.

The Monica is a red wine with a beautiful structure, an all-rounder as it is written in books. Light aging for 4 to 5 months in used oak barrels; this is followed by aging in cement vats for at least 6-7 months.

The result is a red wine that deserves the title "palatable" and simply spreads the joy of enjoying wine.
