The Torrevento winery has always focused on indigenous Apulian grape varieties such as Nero di Troia, from which the Torrevento Vigna Pedale Castel del Monte Rosso Riserva is made from 100%. At first, this wine was considered a pioneer, as it was the first single-varietal Nero di Troia. It has since become a true classic.
It is aged for 8 months in steel tanks and then for 12 months in large oak barrels.

In the glass, this Italian red wine has a ruby red colour with garnet red reflections. The nose is intense, with balsamic notes and hints of wild berries such as blackberries and raspberries. On the palate, the Vigna Pedale Castel del Monte Rosso Riserva is elegant and dense, with a beautiful texture and tannin structure. Its spiciness also comes through here, heralding a long finish.

A wonderful Nero di Troia from Apulia, perfectly matured, elegant and intense.
