Podravje

Adjacent to Austrian Styria in the north, the westernmost part of Hungary and Croatia, lies the Drava region, the Podravje wine region in Slovenia. Part of Podravje are Slovenian Styria (Stajerska Slovenija) and the northernmost tip of Slovenia, Prekmurje. Slovenian Styria alone accounts for almost 40% of Slovenia's total vineyard area. In addition to elegant wines from the Dveri-Pax monastery and fascinating natural wines from Matic Wines, we also find unique pumpkin seed oils and chocolates from Gorazd Kocbek in the Podravje region of Slovenia.
