Quercus Rosé Klet Brda 2024

Our first rosé made from Merlot grapes from Slovenia. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, and the rosé is aged entirely in stainless steel tanks. The result is a fruity, full-bodied rosé that can be served as an aperitif and pairs very well with a variety of dishes, from pasta to sandwiches.

In the glass, it’s a pale pink. The aromas on the nose are berry-like, primarily raspberries and currants, but also cherry and a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, it reveals its fullness—very engaging, velvety, with a pleasantly light acidity. The finish is longer than expected, and the fruity freshness lingers.

The Quercus Rosé from Klet Brda demonstrates that rosé wines don’t necessarily have to be light and sparkling. A full-bodied rosé with lovely fruit and length, it impresses in every way and is a delight to drink.
