Burja Stranpoti 2022 organic wine

We are delighted to have secured a few cases of Burja Stranpoti this year before it sells out quickly, as it does every year. No wonder, as this orange wine cuvée made from Malvasia and Rebula is an outstanding natural wine without compromise.

Like all wines from Primoz Lavrencic, the grapes are harvested with very low yields, selecting the best grapes by hand before the wine spends 20 days on the skins. It then matures for 24 months in concrete eggs.
In the glass, it is a bright golden orange. Its refinement is immediately apparent on the nose. Ripe apricot, balsamic notes, paprika and herbal aromas. Soft, very dry and mineral on the palate with fine tannins. It becomes spicy on the palate, with great structure and lovely length.

Burja Stranpoti is an excellent, refined orange wine from the Vipava Valley in Slovenia.
