Vinakoper Capris Refosk 2024

A wonderful Refosk – aged for 12 months

This intense, beautiful red wine from Slovenia is harvested by hand in late September/early October. Once fermentation is complete, it is aged in large oak casks and barriques for at least 12 months. In the glass, the Refosk’s intense ruby-red colour with violet hues immediately catches the eye. Very inviting.

On the nose, the Vinakoper Capris Refosk reveals ripe, sweet notes of blackberries, cherries, dried plums and earth, as well as pleasant hints of fine wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, yet at the same time fruity and fresh. The freshness, combined with the soft tannins, creates the unique harmony of a truly special wine from Slovenian Istria.

A superb, mature red wine at a very good price.
