Primorska
The Slovenian coastal region, Primorska, borders Italy to the north and Croatia to the south. The diverse wine-growing region can be roughly divided into four main regions: the Vipava Valley, Goriska Brda, the Karst region and Slovenian Istria. Primorska is home to some of Slovenia's most famous wineries, particularly in the natural wine, organic wine and orange wine sectors, as well as the salt pans of Piran with their unique sea salt products.
