The wines in the Batic Selekcija line are characterised by their distinctive mineral character, based on the unique soil and microclimate of the Vipava Valley in Slovenia. Miha Batic's Selections wines stand for precision, longevity and elegance. Extremely low yields, biodynamic viticulture and respect for the winegrowing tradition of the Vipava Valley.

The Zelen Selekcija is being released for the first time in the 2024 vintage and perfectly represents the indigenous variety. In the glass, it is a bright, luminous golden yellow with noticeable density. Surprisingly fresh on the nose, with citrus fruits and Mediterranean herbs. The citrus notes continue on the palate, combined with light fruits and sage. Beautifully mineral, slightly salty, delicately spicy and with pleasant acidity.

Zelen Selekcija by Miha Batic is an excellent natural white wine from Slovenia. We can imagine it being a great accompaniment to light meats, but also to a spicy roast pork and any fish dishes. A great addition to the range!
