The original recipe for Distilleria RAU's bright red Aperau dates back to 1926 and is inspired by a historic family recipe. The unique aroma of this Sardinian bitter liqueur comes from a traditional blend of 14 Sardinian botanicals, which are carefully harvested by hand.

Aperau has a wonderfully sweet and bitter aroma with a delicate, sweet aftertaste of honey. It is perfect for making a spritz or for preparing various cocktails. In winter, it is also a great addition to white mulled wine.
