Uncomplicated, fresh, smooth and lively with a delicate acidity. This is the unique Cvicek. It represents the Dolenjska region of Slovenia like no other wine.

It is often referred to as the ‘Slovenian oddball’ because it is one of the few wines in the world made from red and white grape varieties. Alongside Tuscan Chianti, Cviček is the only wine in the world with a legally protected composition.

It has a light red colour and is characterised by fresh fruit aromas and a delicate, fresh taste. With only a maximum of 8.5-10% alcohol and lively acidity, it is a great light wine for many occasions. According to the inhabitants of the Dolenjska region in Slovenia, the toast ‘Na zdravje’ (meaning ‘To your health’) is more than appropriate when drinking Cviček!

Cviček is suitable for almost any occasion. Bring it along to a barbecue in the park or enjoy it with a hearty snack on a trip to the countryside.

It is not a white wine, it is not a rosé wine, it is not a red wine.
