A Sauvignon of the extra class from Slovenia
The bright lemon yellow color of the Loona in the glass strikes us at first glance. The Sauvignon was macerated for 36 hours, followed by a 4-week cold fermentation. It matured in new French barriques on fine yeast and, as is usual with orange wine, was not filtered. The scent is dominated by exotic notes of tropical fruits such as passion fruit. Followed by a light tobacco note and floral aromas. In the mouth it is full, long, intense, reinforces the varied bouquet of exoticism, spice and light floral notes. After a while in the glass, the wine opens up completely and reveals all of its aromatic potential.
One of our current favorite Sauvignon. A class of its own.
