Animating natural wine cuvée from Vino Gross
The Maribor appellation is known for the white wine varieties Laški Rizling and Sauvignon Blanc. Vino Gross has combined these two dominant grape varieties into a harmonious, delicate cuvée. It represents the typical Maribor style. The origin "Maribor" borders in the north on the South Styrian Wine Route in Austria and encloses the city of Maribor in the south. The soils of the steep vineyards mostly consist of Leitha limestone or limestone marl (Opok). In between, sandy or loamy spots appear again and again. The wine shows its origin in a silky, delicate structure. The vines are up to 60 years old.
Fresh aromas of apple, gooseberry and apricot. Meadow flowers and subtle pod aromas complete the bouquet. A round mouthfeel and animating acidity dominate the palate and lead to a long finish with a subtle salty aftertaste.
