MOVIA Modri Pinot 2020 organic wine

“The Pinot Noir shows the skill of a winemaker”. An old saying that fits so well here.
As with all Movia wines, the Pinot Noir grapes are harvested late and fermented shortly after harvest (within 2 hours). The maceration lasts 3-4 weeks until the end of the fermentation process, when the grape skins settle on their own and the wine clarifies. The Pinot Noir then matures in oak barrels for up to four years. No sulfur is used at Movia until it is bottled and the red natural wine is bottled unfiltered.
At Movia, the Pinot Noir is one of the flagship wines of the winery. The color is deep garnet, almost almost brownish. The bouquet is unmistakably that of a Modri ​​Pinot Noir, with soft notes of leather, undergrowth, wild berries and earthy notes that together create a great harmony. In the mouth it is dry, with silky tannins and the right level of acidity that enhances its character and gives it longevity. A very round mouthfeel with a long finish.
