In 1953 the Cantina della Vernaccia was founded in Sardinia. A large part of the vineyards extends from the Stagno di Cabras to the Sinis peninsula. Around Cabras there is a microclimate with hot summers and mild winters. Grapes for the best Sardinian wines such as Vernaccia di Oristano, Nieddera, Cannonau or Vermentino grow on the limestone and sedimentary rock.

The Maimone Canonnau di Sardegna Riserva is ruby ​​red in colour. The nose is reminiscent of red berries, combined with fine roasted aromas and the Cannonau-typical spiciness. On the palate, the Maimone is dry, fresh and pleasantly soft. A red wine from Sardinia with a very good structure. 6 months aging in used oak barrels, followed by a further 6 months of refinement in the cement tank.

In the Maimone Cannonau from the Cantina della Vernaccia we find a true all-rounder and house wine for many customers.
