Delicate aromas of white fruits and flowers surround the Cheja of the Cantina di Mogoro. The pear in particular comes to the fore. The taste is pleasant and fresh, with a balanced acidity and a slightly tart finish, typically Vermentino.
"Cheja" is a variant of the Sardinian "Cresia", Chiesa (church). In Sardinia and in the Oristano area there are still remains of ancient churches in the middle of the vineyards, reflecting the spread and importance of the vine on the island.
