In the glass, a dark and intense violet red with violet reflections that become garnet over time. Ripe red fruit aromas including cherry and blackberry. In the mouth we immediately experience the character of a structured wine with clear tannins, velvety and complex at the same time. On tasting, the balsamic and spicy notes of cocoa and tobacco can be recognized. The Cavaliere Sardo (Sardinian knight) is characterized by its complex and powerful character that sticks in our memory.Bovale is one of the oldest grape varieties in Sardinia. Its presence is omnipresent on the island, cultivated alone or in association with other vines. Recent studies show that the Bovale is a direct descendant of a wild vine that can still be found in some wooded areas of Sardinia. It underlines the long tradition of viticulture in Sardinia.
